Introducing the Minden Team
At Minden, we are a small team built around a family business. We are dedicated to manufacturing, building and installing dust extraction systems that work efficiently and effectively. How we do this is due to our knowledge and experience and our ability to understand the customer’s requirements.
At the heart of this service is our team of engineers. Each skilled in their own specialism, but knowledgeable on every aspect of the service. The team is fully qualified and trained in the relevant industry qualifications and all site staff hold CSCS certifications. Within our team, some members hold specialised industry qualifications including IPAF - International Powered Access Federation, UKATA Asbestos Awareness and Working at Height/Harness Training.
Les takes pride in nurturing a small family business into an internationally operating global brand. Previously working in manufacturing and as European Financial Controller for Blackhawk, he understands customer requirements from a financial as well as a functionality perspective.
Kathy is responsible for accounts and the customer service database. Since her extensive career in IT and technical assistance, she has been passionate about innovative tools and technology and enjoys the challenge of a new project. Qualifications - HNC in computer studies
Previously working in dust and fume extraction installation, Artur brings extensive industry knowledge to his role at Minden. His specialisms include production and servicing as well as IT and warehousing. Qualifications - CSCS.
Carl’s expertise comes from his servicing, repair and recycling experience in the automotive and consumer goods industries. He is involved in the build, installation and servicing to deliver an exceptional service for the customer.
Qualifications - DBS Basic check, CSCS, IPAF, UKATA Asbestos awareness, Working at height /Harness training.
Coming from a sales and administration background, Claire is a dedicated project manager. Her customer focus, organisation and problem-solving skills help her to oversee every step of the project from proposal through to completion. Qualifications - NVQ Level 2 AutoCAD, CSCS
Overseeing the service and installation, Malcolm provides project management as well as installation supervision and troubleshooting. His knowledge and agility help him to educate customers to maximise the efficiency of their systems. Qualifications - Disclosure Scotland - Basic Check, CSCS, IPAF, UKATA Asbestos awareness, Working at height /Harness training, 17th edition wiring regulations C&G 2382-10.
Responsible for building all of Minden’s new machines, Will is also involved in new product development and research. From a background in electrical maintenance and security engineering, he also brings electrical specialisms to the team. Qualifications - City and Guilds Electrical installations parts 1 and 2, City and Guilds BS7671 17th Edition regulations Level 3, City and Guilds BS2391 Inspecting, testing and certification, City and Guilds BS2377 Portable appliance testing, St. Johns first aid at work, IPAF, RT Telescopic handler licence, Counter balance truck licence.
